Beijing

From Sydney we flew to Beijing. Its an 11 hour flight. Our aproach showed up very little - just dense smog!

View from our hotel. Our room wason the 10th floor. We were upgraded to the executive floor. Very luxurious room. Hotel Marco Polo - only 15 minutes walk from Tianamen Square. Beijing is a mixture of old and new. In this sht you can see one of the many high-rise apartment buildings and the old Hutong areas.

The roads are wide, multi-lane hghways. Beijing is a city of about 15.5 million people. It is vast!
