We flew via Dublin and Paris to Tunis on Air France ...
Air France's COncorde is on display at Charles de Gaulle airport, Paris.
Le Massive Central ....
As we flew over France,we had a greta view of the huge, snow-capped, mountains in the centre of France, looking over towards Les Alps.
Fresh naan bread for breakfast
A local woman came into the hotel dinign room each morning and made fresh naan bread in the traditional Tunisian way. The food in the hotel is excellent. All grown and produced locally. No need to worry about air miles ....
The hotel foyer is suitabe bedecked for the festive season.
Citrus golf club in Hammamet ..
... is a complex with 2 eighteen hole courses and an executive 9 hole course. It has a fine club house which has been extended and developed in the years we have been there. Each year we see new developments both on the course and in the clubhouse. We each have a set of clubs that we leave there.
Les petits chats ...
The hotel encourages a troupe of cats to help control vermin and snakes. They are the cutest little creatures One day they climbed all over my new basket ..
Thalasso Centre
My favourite part of the hotel is the Thalasso centre. This is the indoor/outdoor heated sea water swimming pool. It has loads of massage jets both from under and over the water. The centre offers all sorts of massage and water treatments, including algae applications. It is very popular. Our stay here turns into a health farm for me!
Hotel Bel Azur in Hammamet ...
sits in its own beautiful grounds with its own beach on the Med. Our room is next to the beach...same room every year. They'll have to put a plaque on the wall! This was our 14th trip to Tunisia.
