This si probably the mostnfamous view in TS: It is called theTianamen Gate, with Mao's photo displayed, larger than life. Behind it is the Imperial Palace, also called the Forbidden City, where the Emperors lived with their courts.
This is the Monument to the People and behind it the large, long building is the Great Hall of the People.
The Chinese flag locates the centre of the Chinese State.
