We went to see the tomb of the Third Ming Emperor, Yongle. He is buried in a Palace specially built forthe purpose, with all of his artifacts and, of course, his 36 concubines and wives who committed suicide at his death and were buried standing up next to him. The Palace is also buried under a high mountain. Some of the tombs have been excavated, but not this one as yet.
