A tale is told about the two young princes, sons and heirs of Edward IV who were put into the tower when their father died by their uncle Richard of Gloucester. Neither was seen again and Richard was crowned later that year. In 1674 the skeletons of two children were found nearby and were reburied in Westminster Abbey.
