Kennedy Plays Cork

Well! We did it. The concert was a HUUUUGE success. The packed audience gave a mini standing ovation after the first mvt of the Bach Double - the first piece on the programme .... and Kennedy got even better with each piece. He gave an amazing performance of all three concertos and then did a fantastic Czardas with all sorts of themes thrown in as he played along. He is a hugely versatile musician. His facility knows no bounds and his Guarneri sounded like a dream. He played Jaz in the Kingsley until 5.00 am ... we didn't last quite that long! G and I stayed in the Kingsley overnigt ... luckily, because a huge storm blew in from the Atlantic.
