Halloween Scares

I visted my Aunt Chrissie today - Halloween. I met some scary creatures!

The main staircase goes up through the four floors. It is topped by a glass roof, leaving in natural light. There are three light shafts in the building allowin natural light into all rooms.

The corridors on each floor are very spacious. This is the first floor. My office is at the end of the corridor on the right of this photo. You can see the main staircase throught the window on the left.

This shot is opposite the previous one. The doors on the left are the toilets. The 'b' door is the 'b' stairs and lift shaft. There are three of these in the building, 'a', 'b' and 'c'.

Eahc floor has two main coridors. My office is at the end of the coridor on the left of this shot. The recording suite is at the end of the corridor on the right.

The casual performance and art exhibition area in the ground floor open concourse.

The ground floor concourse area where the children do their homework. Refreshments are served here during receptions and concert intervals. The spiral staircase leads to the senior management offices on the 1st floor.

There are three stairwells which also have lifts.

The restaurant. Its a public restaurant which serves food, hot and cold, all day. Local workers and others come in at all times of the day.

My cousin. William married Atchara on Thursday 25th. We had a great day.

Old Pals Reunion

Breed Healy was in Cork this week. A few of the 'old girls' got together for a cuppa. This is Mary O'Mahony (mother of Cillian Murphy) and Finola O'Donovan.

My friend Eibhlin from Cork, who now lives in a neighbouring county, dressed up specially for the Cork v Kerry all Ireland final last week. She took her life in her hands for dinner in Barry's!

The weather has been amazingly kind since we got back gome from far flung places. These are shots I took while walking along 'the line' from Passage to Rochestown a few days ago. The river Lee looks lovely in the sun.
