Michelle Fleming and Eoin Schmidt-Martin were married in Killarney on December 28th. Charlie was the fourth groomsman- This is Eoin's family.

Porterhouse Reunites

Charlie's Irish band, Porterhouse, reunited on St Stepehen's night for its annual gig. Left to right: Conor MacCarthy on bass from Finland, Finbar Townsend from Dublin, Noel Murphy from Passage West and Charlie who had just arrived from Perth. The gig was in the Shelbourne Bar, McCurtain Street.

Lead singer and general hell-raiser, Finbar Townsend, was on top form for the nght. Noel, the banjo picker, was thoroughly enjoying the scene.

Master and student in full flight.

Tomas McCarthy joined in with his viola. Tomas and Noel were both in Miller's Wheel. When Chralie was young I would take him to Miller´s Wheel gigs to listen to Tomas fiddling. Thereby Charlie learned the tricks of the trade.

My brother Noel and Charlie harmonise. Noel was a founder member of Miller´s Wheel, a great band in the 70´s in Cork.
