HMS Belfast, on the left bank here, behind me, has been a museum since 1971. In 1943 it participated in the sinking of the German cruiser Scharnhorst. Displays portray life on board in WWII.
is only two tube stops away from Liverpool Street station. It is a modern, living centre with housing and entertainment availabe in one complete block.
Internal gardens amongst the high rise living complexes. Birds were singing joyously ... we wondered if it was piped! All seems very idealistic here.
Barbican entertainment is the best in the world, with all of the top performers of all genres visiting. I wanna go back ..... All that was available for us to see on our visit was Shreck 3 .... well it did give us a chance to sit down for a few hours ....
the concert hall and cinemas are on the left here, with more apartments behind, all centred around a man made river.
is on the south bank of the Thames. We couldn't take the tour because the company were doing final rehearsals for Love's Labours Lost which was having its opening night.
We bought a teddy bear hand puppet for Finn in Covent Garden Market. Here he is on his first outing, on Millenium Bridge. That's Tower Bridge in the back ground.
No, this has nothing to do with London. Nor, do these two actually BELONG to Charlie! He's just starting a collection of young cuties in Oz! The one on the right is Finn Morris, the other is an imposter!
We went to see the musical Chicago. It was an excellent production, full of brilliant dnacing and singing. Thank you Carole, Don and Hugh. We enjoyed our day with you.
